ZOOMLION has offered an assistance, totaling GH¢20,000 to the Adentan Police to enable them to complete an office complex.
The assistance included a cheque for GH¢5000; ten trips of sand; iron rods, wawa boards, and 3,000 blocks.
Mr Emmanuel Okomeng, Director of Administration, Zoomlion, who presented the cheque said it was part of their corporate social responsibility to assist the police.
He said Zoomlion has a special relationship with the police because of the onerous task they perform to project life and property.
Mr Stephen Ahiastafu, Adenta District police commander who received the cheque and the items, expressed appreciation for the gesture.
He said even though Zoomlion had exhausted their budget by the 15th of December, last year, they managed to offer the assistance.
Mr Ahiatafu disclosed that, the two or three storey building, when completed, will have such facilities as offices, female, male, and juvenile cells.
He called on corporate entities to emulate the example of Zoomlion.
