Volleyball: Ghana Police LoseTo Burkina Faso
The men's Volleyball team of the Ghana Police Service, currently participating in the Africa Zone III Championship in Burkina Faso, lost to host country Burkina Faso by one goal to three while the female team crushed their counterparts from Niger by three goals in their opening games on Monday.
The Police contingent from Ghana looked determined from the onset and players like Mary Addae, Vida Ocran, Ajara Mahama, Kate Bruce Tagoe, Lydia Addo, Patricia Ahiafor and Susana Alarm were instrumental in the ladies’ victory.
In their next round of matches today, the Ladies will face their counterparts from Cote d’Ivoire and the male team will also play University of Benin.
