The Reverend Tetteh Djangmah, Senior Pastor of the True Vine Charismatic Church International (TVCCI), sharing packed lunch with children at a party organized by the Church for members of the congregation shortly after the New Year Special Church service last Sunday.
The event, he said had been instituted in the church every New Year day where the Children department and their parents as well as the entire congregation would enjoy sumptuous meal and drinks as they worship and praise the Lord for seeing them through the New Year.
Earlier in a sermon, the Reverend Djangmah called on Christians to renew their commitment to serve God and ask for divine guidance in their daily lives.
Preaching the sermon under the theme; Exercising Dominion, he called on parents to be responsible in the upbringing of their children for them to be better citizens and contribute to national development.
Children between the ages of nine and 12 years old under no circumstances should be allowed to sell sachet water (pure water0 and dog chains in the street while the parents look on.
The Senior Pastor deplored the moral decadence in society where people litter the streets with impunity.
He said people placed in positions of authority should be seen to be performing their duties with vigor and honesty if the nation was to move forward.
The Reverend said the country needed God fearing leaders to take the rightful positions in society for a better and prosperous nation.
