The Children and Evangelism Ministry (CEM) a non-governmental Christian organisation, as part of the Easter season, organised a fun fair for children drawn from all over Ghana on Saturday in Accra.
The National Coordinator for Children and Evangelism Ministry, Mrs. Tricia Abossey in her address, noted that children are the future leaders of every country and that there is the need for parents and society to look at the welfare of children for a brighter future.
She said, the numerous armed robbery and chaos that go on globally is as a result of baseless moral training given to people at their tender age.
According to her, hundreds of children are mobilised every year from all churches to have the feel of the season through the sole effort of the organisation adding that it would be very important that the government and other organisation supported such a cause for a better future.
Mrs. Abossey said, the ministry hopes to train about eight hundred Sunday School teachers on how to teach the children a moral issues and the need to live a holy life, stressing that it is time the youth lived a holy life for God to rain prosperity on the country.
“Train up a child the way he should go so when he grows he would not depart from it, this all parents and the churches should take note,” she said.
