THE Asuogyaman NDC Constituency Chairman Mr. Love Joy Dusi has said that it takes experience and hard working leaders to win an election.
He has therefore appealed to members of the party to put a stop to the whole sale voting currently going on in some of the constituencies to remove the experience people and the hard working leaders from certain key positions in the party.
The Chairman said this in an interview with the Times at the weekend at Akosombo.
Mr Dusi appealed to one leadership of the party to be careful of the rate at which the youth are voting out the experienced members.
Citing example of the NPP in 2008 where some key members and experienced leaders like Mr. Dan Botwe were voted out or sacked which caused them dearly in the elections.
He also talked about the confusion between Mr. Josiah Ayeh and Mr Hudu Yahaya in 200 and 200 where the latter was removed and the NDC lost to the NPP.
“Let us be very careful of certain key positions like General Secretary and National Organiser’s positions are kept untouched”. He appealed.
He suggested to the national executives to find a way of training the up and coming youth in the party to know and understand the structures of the party to enable them behave wisely.
The Chairman also appealed to them to make known to the party members the difference between the government and the party.
He said there are certain issues which should be dealt with within the party before it gets to the government but every thing has been channeled to the government.
Mr. Dusi urged the party leadership to use the opportunity given to the party to be in power construct offices for all the constituencies because most of them are in rented houses/offices.
“We will be ejected if one day our party is not in government”. He said.
