Stanbic Bank has demonstrated its support for the health sector by donating medical beds and screens, worth GHC 5,000, to Reach for Recovery Ghana, a non-government organization, to assist it to embark on sensitization programmes aimed at raising awareness on breast cancer.
Reach for Recovery Ghana comprises a group of women who have survived the breast cancer disease and some medical personnel. It provides free breast screening at schools and churches within Accra and other regions.
The donation was made to the group after a customer of the Stanbic Bank, Mrs. Gifty Ohui Allotey, a breast cancer survivor, made a request on behalf of the group.
