When three musicians meet at the offices of a recording studio, what do they talk about? Of course the focus is music, recording and upcoming shows.
That’s exactly what happened when Samini, Eugene Hus and Ben Brako met at Scratch Studios in Accra this week.
Rastaman Samini told Times Weekend that his visit to Scratch Studio was first to ‘Say Hi! to buddies’; check out the latest world class multi-media facilities at the place and discuss future collaborations with colleagues.
Samini is apparently featuring on Eugene’s forthcoming Rap and Hip-pop single being produced under the Scratch label, described by Ben Brako who is a Director and International Relations Manager of Scratch Studios as ‘a new world-class rap discovery with lyrics that carry weight and meaning, wrapped in strong percussion and African rhythm that makes it unique.
Samini said he shares the ideals and objectives of the Scratch Studios, through the Dream!Child Foundation to use music to empower the African child for a better future.
The three artistes disclosed to Times Weekend that they discussed the possibility of performing at the Dream!Child Project concert this year in the UK.
Present at the meeting were Nana Kofi Amoakohene, Chief Executive Officer and Mr. Kwaku Antwi, Sound Engineer and acting Director of Music and Publishing, all of Scratch Studio.
