THE Sekondi-Takoradi Network of Ministries of the Gospel has called on the Western Regional Minister, Mr Paul Evans Aidoo and his deputy Miss Betty Bosumtwi-Sam in their offices.
The secretary to the group, the Rev. Cephas Christopher Yeboah, on behalf of his colleagues, told the ministers to commit themselves to God to grant them wisdom, understanding and good direction in the discharge of their duties.
Mr Aidoo thanked the pastors for the visit and the role they played in ensuring peaceful elections last year.
He said the Value Added Tax and Internal Revenue Service policy to tax churches was not political, but a means of generating revenue to fight poverty, diseases and hunger.
He told the pastors to use the pulpit to explain government policies on water.
