Nana Addo Asks IEA To Reschedule Evening Encounter
The flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, has asked the Institute of Economic Affairs (IEA) to reschedule his Evening Encounter originally slated for August 7.
According to a statement issued from the office of the NPP flagbearer, this had become necessary due to the death, last Tuesday of Prof. John Evans Atta Mills last Tuesday.
The NPP flagbearer requested that the encounter be rescheduled to a date after the President’s burial.
Nana Akufo-Addo had earlier in the week, called off his Hope Restoration Tour in Evalue-Gwira of the Western Region, following President Mills' death.
The funeral of the late President has been slated for August 8-10 in Accra.
