Man Impregnates Daughter
THE Ashaiman Circuit Court on Monday, sentenced a 38-year-old Security man to 20 years imprisonment for incest.
Baba Musah took advantage of the absence of his wife who had abandoned her matrimonial home, to have sex with his 20-year-old daughter resulting in pregnancy.
The prosecution told the court that Musah lived at Klagon near Ashaiman with his daughter.
Due to a misunderstanding between him and his wife she left her matrimonial home for Kumasi with their daughter but after the woman’s death the girl came back to her father at Klagon.
Musah had sex with his daughter on three occasions and on
each occasion, he threatened to kill her with a knife if she would not allow him to have sexual intercourse with her.
However, when she realized she was pregnant, she reported the case to the Ashaiman Domestic Violence Victims Unit of the Police on February 1, and Musah was arrested.
