The opening ceremony of the 2010 Language Clinic soccer cup comes of at the Ohene Djan sports stadium at 6pm on Saturday.
The ceremony will see the 15 participation countries on parade in their paraphenalia and cultural identity.
The tournament is an extension of the Language clinic’s purpose of a healing of the understanding of language and will see various Francophone associations thronging the stadium to witness the event.
The countries participating in the tournament which is divided into groups of four include Cote d’Ivoire, Mali,Senegal,Congo[Brazza]in group A, Togo, DR Congo, Burkina Fasso,Guinea Conakry Make up the contries in B whilst group C consist of Niger,Central Africa, Chad, Cameroon and Gabon,Benin as well as Ecuatorial Guinea finish the list in group D.
The championship is expected to go into a round of qualifying series next year as T he Language clinic opens it to all Francophone countries in Africa..
