ICB Introduces 2 New Products

International Commercial Bank (ICB) has launched two new products aimed at enriching relationship with its cherished and potential customers.

Known as the ICB Prestige Saving Account (PSA) and the ICB Young Super Save Account, (YSSA) the new products have very attractive interest rates.

The two products were launched separately at the opening of the Dome and Santa Maria branches of the banks in Accra respectively.
The SPA gas an interest rate ranging between four and 13 per cent, depending on the level of deposit.

Its features include a cheque issuing facility which offers flexibility for payment and the usage of an account as collateral for an overdraft facility.

Interest on PSA also accrues on daily balances and applied monthly while the account statement is issued on quarterly basis.

The YSSA, on the other hand it a product designed to provide savings and investment solutions to parents who are desired to start some savings for their children and help to inculcate the habit of saving into them with a minimum of GH˘30.00 to start, account enjoying 200 per cent basis point interest above the normal ICB savings account.

It also has the feature of a minimum monthly standing instruction of at least GH˘20.00 from the parent’s account to the child’s account.

The Chief Executive Officer of ICB, Mr. Sanjeev Anand who launched the products said the bank would do its best to get closer to its customers and attend to the needs.

“For us at ICB, our customers are crucial for the cord of partnership we strike with them” he said and added that “other customer touch points, including Internet Banking, SME Banking, mobile money and call centre, would be to either expand our relationships or to cater for our existing customer requirements on a proactive and timely basis.”

Mr. Anand mentioned the bank’s other financial products to meet the specific requirements of every segment as Car and Personal Loans for individuals, Trade Finance Products for importers and exporters and Equipment Finance for Doctors and other Professionals, among others.

The Head of Consumer Banking Mr. Pascal Agbenu noted that although other banks may offer similar hybrid deposit products, none of them would be able to reward customers with the kind of interest ICB offers its customers.

He said ICB was committed to helping parents to make funding of the education of their children and other needs very convenient.
