Following the naming of the final list of the Black Stars, a number of fans have expressed their feelings on Black Stars coach Rajevac's choice. Below are the comments as captured by ghanasoccernet.com

Nana Kofi:
Laryea should be in the squad. He is a ball joggler who can create chances and win fouls on a good day. He must replace Rahim.
Ransford:

Why axe Laryea, instead of Adiyiah? Adiyiah is not mature. He can’t stand the heat. Has he featured for AC Milan in Serie A since his transfer? Come on guys! This is a joke.
Phillbanger
The selection is not bad but they could have had some respect for Laryea Kingston. Look what he went through with Hearts because of his commitment with the Black Stars. He could have been a substitute.

Degree:
Bro Laryea was thinking he had the jersey No 7 already but, thanks to Metro TV and Satenta TV, we had some opportunity to watch him play for his club and that alone was very bad becase he played nothing…

Dadaba the Susu collector:
Ok. The choices have already been made. Trust me, there is not much we can do about the selection. As for the way forward, we just have to PRAY, and that would bring us the cup. Go, Ghana!

Ken:
I’m very sorry for Kingston Laryea. This would have been a good chance for him to find a new club, but looking at the team, there’s no one he can replace. They’ve all earned their places. He is very unlucky because we have too many midfielders. Something could have been done about the goalkeepers, defenders or strikers but not the midfield. Imagine if Essien was playing. Dede needs to be there to maintain the continuity with the youth as our team is growing.

Crack:
Sorry, Laryea Kingston, It just that you were not that fit, that is why the coach dropped you out of the squad. Anyway, Essien, we would miss you but we have another one who can make it; that is Quincy. O. Abayie. I wish Ghana all the best. May we bring the World Cup Home.

Sabacious:
Milo is beginning to win my confidence by dropping Laryea, but the inclusion of Rahim Ayew, Adiyiah and Daniel Agyei really baffles me alot. I was expecting him to drop Adiyiah and select Amoah, Tagoe and Gyan since Abeyie can play as a striker. Anyway kudos, your bold decision in ignoring the GFA favourite player, Laryea. With such bold decisions, you will surely win some of your critics’ heart. Laryea shouldn’t have been in the provisional list in the first place. All the best to the stars! Congrats to Abeyie for making the cut.

Adehyie:
Spot on Milo. Very bold and brave selection that prepares Ghana for the next World Cup as well, all things being equal. This is Milo’s World Cup. Get ready for surprises. Sorry Bro Laryea; I am afraid if you are not careful, this will affect your career.

Lè shaq:
The selection was not based on sentimental grounds, but the inclusion of some players is questionable. I don’t want to mention names to down play their spirits, all the same it’s already out, so we need to support them.

Gentle John:
This is not fair to Laryea, after what happened to him last four years and all he went through with his club because of his commitment to Ghana (Black Stars?)Well, maybe he is not destined to play in the World Cup, Laryea, my advice is don’t talk to any media about this. I hope this is not the end of the world, you will find a better club.

Eric Qute:
Well I guess this final list was almost exactly what most of us were waiting to see. Milo has done well by being “fair”. I know a lot of talk is going to go on about Laryea’s exclusion, but I am afraid that was the right thing to do. Laryea’s form has dipped too much to play ahead of Abeyie. God bless the Black Stars and God bless Ghana!

Kennedy:
I think the coach has been perfect. I knew Laryea would surely be out. May the good Lord be with the rest who made it to the final 23. It’s my prayer that they come out with better results to delight all Ghanaians and Africa as a whole. Amen

Derek Diaz:
Why drop Eric Addo and pick Rahim Ayew?

Boosie:
I am very dissappointed at this war veteran coach. He should explain to we the people of Teshie Nungua the reason why he dropped Laryea. GO LARYEA….GO GHANA.

Double Tee:
What, how can the coach drop Eric Addo, and Bro Laryea? We all saw Vorsah and Addy at the Cup of Nations. They did their grade, but am sorry for Jonathan Mensah and Rahim to be in the squad, it should be Eric and Bro Laryea

Eric Qute:
Its funny how some people are still calling for Laryea’s inclusion, but let’s be real, people, I mean, Laryea is a player I’ve always loved to watch, but this time around, I think Abeyie is a much better option than he is. For Adiyiah, I think its a good decision from the coach to include him. The only “surprise” for me is Rahim. But the coach really does know best. Nobody knows what’s been going on in training. Besides, it could be a precaution or a back-up for a defence. For Adiyiah, please! he is a proven goal scorer.. Experience or not, I am sure he justified his inclusion and I think he merits a place in the team. Lastly, I think the biggest surprise will be Appiah. If the reports we are getting about him are true, I am sure he is going to prove a lot of critics wrong, including me. So let’s keep our fingers crossed. The coach knows best. Lets support his selection, not shoot him down. Its not only in Ghana that there are surprises in the team, we are not any different and not everybody can play, so please some of the vile comments should be toned down. Peace!

Isaac:
The coach made his selection based on critical analysis. If you have watched Bro Laryea recently, you will understand why he has been axed.

Abrantie-In Da House:
I don’t know why some people here are against the inclusion of Rahim and/or are comparing Rahim with Bra Laryea.

Don’t get me wrong, please, I am no fan of Rahim, but if you look at the 30-man squad and the position Rahim could play, after mighty Essien and young Agyeman Badu couldn’t make the final 23 because of injuries, it was obvious Rahim should be in.

It is however different in the case of Bro Laryea. He is out of form, and had a lot of competition for his position and all his competitors were fit, younger and experienced. Let names like KPB and QOA come to mind, the report we had on Appiah in training, Muntari etc, it was obvious only a miracle or favouritism could push Bro Laryea into the final 23.
I am glad the coach did not favour anybody. Let the fit and the best make the squad. All those who are telling us about what Bro laryea has done for Ghana or the Black Stars are in favour of favouritsm and that would have been wrong!

I however, think some people shouldn’t have made the first 30 call. Someone like Agyeman Badu for example. Not because he is not qualified as a player, but because he was injured, and he is not an extra-ordinary player for us to include him and hope he becomes fit. If that had not been the case, it would have been very difficlut for Rahim as well.

From the 30 in camp though, it was right Rahim goes and Laryea watches from TV from the reasons I gave above.
