Making the presentation Mr. Bannerman-Chedid said the vehicle was a further fulfillment of the company’s promise to the club earlier this year.
“We at MTN holds in high esteem our association with the premier club of Ghana soccer. This is because the club identifies itself with some of the key values that drive the MTN brand in our 21 operating countries across Africa and the Middle East”.
According to him the “Never Say Die” slogan of the club and the “Can Do” spirit of MTN is one of the main factors that propelled his outfit to sign the recent sponsorship package.
He was convinced that the vehicle will go a long way to facilitate the club’s operations and contribute ultimately, to its fortunes in the local league and on the African continent.
Mr. E.N Commodore Mensah thanked MTN for their kind gesture adding that it will motivate the team to perform to higher heights.
He further promised the club headline sponsors that Hearts will win the league cup and other trophies and also do its best to help the MTN brand benefits from the sponsorship package by helping them promote their products and services.
The board chairman later presented the key to the vehicle to the coach of the club Kosta Papic for use.
