Asikuma Odoben Brakwa Schools Benefit From Facilities

SCHOOLS in a number of communities in the Asikuma-Odoben-Brakwa District are being provided with facilities under the District Development Fund.

Brakwa and Boame Nkwana are to have classroom blocks, KVIP toilets and urinals, while Towoboase and Attu Dauda will be provided with Teachers’ accommodation.

The Odoben Senior High School will have a four-unit girls’ hostel.

The projects, with an estimated total value of GH˘643,000 are expected to be completed in six-months.

Mrs Georgina Nkrumah Aboah, the District Chief Executive, announced this when the cut the sod for the commencement of the hostel projects at Odoben.

She appealed to the contractors to endeavour to complete work on schedule to avoid extra costs being incurred.

Mrs Nkrumah Aboah commended the management of Amo Mensah Company Limited, contractors for the hostel, for rehabilitating the road from the school to the project site, at their own cost.
