Mr Nyarko noted that the pumping station to receive the trucks had been completed and that work on the treatment plant was on course and would be handed the company would soon hand over to the AMA by the ending of September.

The MCE, also visited the Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) project, which was designed to ease traffic in the , where he expressed dissatisfaction about the delay of the project
“The drains are too small to ensure easy flow of water and the lanes are not adequate be enough to contain heavy traffic” he said.

Mr Michael Lear, the Resident Engineer of EGIS International who are supervising the project explained that the inadequate drains was due to inability of Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) to remove the underground wires.

He also stated that the sites was a water log area and needed to be filled with rocks resulting in the delay.
Mr Lear however, gave the assured that the road would be completed in October according to specifications.

Mr Vanderpuije urged the company, GOVEC Construction to increase their effort in order to make the road available to the public adding that the inspection was to make sure they deliver the project on sehedule.
