The New Patriotic Party (NPP) parliamentary candidate for the Dome Kwabenya Constituency, Sarah Adwoa Safo, is set to kick-start her campaign On Monday July 2 at the Taifa Norway Park.
Political gurus in the elephant fraternity, including its flagbearer, Nana Akuffo Ado, former president John Agyekum Kuffuor, Member of Parliament (MP) for Dome Kwabenya, Prof Mike Quaye, and the party’s General Secretary, Kwadwo Owusu Afriyie, are expected to grace the occasion.
Others include the MP for Manhyia, Mathew Opoku Prempeh, MP for Akyem Abuakwa South, Samuel Attah Akyea, MP for Atwima Mponua, Isaac Asiamah, among others.
The ceremony will also be attended by party supporters and sympathizers from the various constituencies in the Greater Accra Region.
The campaign launch would be characterized with fanfare and the constituency would be agog with bubbling enthusiasm and activities.
Some renowned and seasoned gospel artistes have also been billed to thrill patrons with good music; notable among them are Isaiah Kojo Ampong, Gifty Osei, among others.
Adwoa Safo, a legal practitioner and philanthropist, is expected to address the supporters and present to them her plans and vision for the constituency.
She will touch on issues such as the basic education in the area, healthcare delivery, provision of utilities and social amenities.
Prior to the ceremony, a free medical screening and consultation sponsored by the aspiring MP will be conducted for residents in the constituency.
The day is set to be a defining moment for the NPP and the party looks forward to regaining power.
