The Association of Methodist Men’s Fellowships being the engine of growth and development in the Methodist Church should be sound and in good shape at all times to be able to perform its functions effectively.

This, according to Mr. Alex Awuah Mensah, a Local Preacher of the Methodist Church, implies that members of the Men’s Fellowship should always be upright and in tune to be able to drive the Church forward.

Preaching the sermon at the Induction into office of the Executive of the Adjiriganor branch of the Association of Methodist Men’s Fellowship last Sunday, Mr. Awuah Mensah said as an engine the Fellowship should undergo regular servicing, check their oil, fuel and water levels and brake systems or else it would run into a ditch or halt in no time.

Swearing in the Officers, the Very Rev. Kwamena Haizel admonished the members to be prepared to sacrifice their time and resources for the work of Christ in order that the Fellowship and the Church will continue to win souls for the Lord.

Squadron Leader (Rtd) Ben Azariah, a Past National Executive member of the Association of Methodist Men’s Fellowship, said God has elected them into office to do His work and they can not afford to disappoint God , the Church or themselves.

He said world history teaches that all major troubles or problems in the world have been caused by men and therefore as men of God they should lead a life that will bring about peace, love and ‘spiritual fruits’ for the good of the Church and Society.
