US Charity Group Adopts Gomoa Kweikrom

Cleagle Revelations International, a United States based charity group, has adopted the town of Gomoa Kweikrom, a deprived community in the Central Region with the aim of helping to improve the welfare of the inhabitants.
As part of the development assistance programme for the town, the organisation is adopting measures to enhance the educational, health and water supply facilities in the town.
It is also planning to train and equip the youth in the area with relevant skills to enable them to engage in income generating activities.
Clarion Q. Clarkemoude, head of the group, told journalists during a presentation of support items to the community that, “We are struck by the level of poverty here”.
He said the organisation which had been undertaking charity projects in a number of African countries, decided to adopt the community to help alleviate the plight of the people especially, women and children.
“We believe in the advancement of the Christian faith and the alleviation of poverty,” he said, adding that his outfit would provide free medical care for residents of the community.
He said the organisation which mobilises support from philanthropists across the US for its humanitarian work, would renovate the town’s school building and build a clinic for the area.
Nana Agyeman, Dsasehene of Gomoa Kweikrom, receiving the items, which included clothing to be distributed among the townsfolk, thanked the management of Cleagle Revelation for the support, and pledged the full cooperation of the people in its programmes for the community.
