Former Prez Kufuor Consoles Dan Lartey's Family

Former President John Agyekum Kufuor has extended his condolences to the Family of Mr. Dan Lartey, Founder and Leader of the Great Consolidated Popular Party (GCPP), saying he is “shocked” by news of his pass away.
A statement issued and signed by Mr. Frank Agyekum, Spokesperson for the Former President described Mr. Lartey as a man of great conviction who “stood by his ideals and defended what he believed in staunchly.”
Mr. Lartey or 'Mr. Domestication' as he is popularly called, has paid his dues as one of the political stalwarts of our time,” the statement said.
“The fervour and dynamism he brought to the national political plate at his advanced age were amazing, even to his adversaries.

O Ghana, I never knew Uncle Dan Lartey was so special to Ghanaians yet we never appreciated any of his policies. Why laud his policies now that he is no more? \"Whatever a man has to do, he must do it with all his might for it becomes useless when he dies\".
